2012 Mazda MX-5 Super25

This year’s 2012 Mazda MX-5 Super25 is probably one of the most spectacular vehicles launched yet, thanks not only to its impressive and fiery design, but to its qualities and performance as well. The 2012 Mazda MX-5 Super25 is a two-seat roadster concept which sends the mind to racing and motor sports. The design and attributes both make it resemble racing cars, but developers really worked to make it function like one too. You can see this from the front and center halogen lamps, which make this elegant car an instant sports car, reminding even of off-road vehicles.

Nevertheless, Mazda amateurs should not be fooled: this pretty baby is powerful and strong, and definitely not for the faint-hearted. Other additions that designers and engineers added to bring it closer to racing cars are the Sparco racing seat, plus the harness and steering wheel that are meant to help the driver maintain control and be safe. The 2012 Mazda MX-5 Super25 is very striking visually with its intense red paint kept in line here and there by black and gray portions. It almost looks like a 1960s race car had a baby with this year’s most elegant luxury car and it looked like this Mazda.

The great things about the 2012 Mazda MX-5 Super25 are that it is a rather small and definitely light vehicle built to imitate and remind of endurance racing. Returning to the car’s colors, the glossy and rich red which is predominant is highlighted by white lines on the hood and black and grey details, including the number 55 which is fitted on the side doors, as a tribute of the 1991 Le Mans tour which the brand won. With its 17-inch matte black wheels fitted in Goodrich tires, this Mazda invites you to a racing competition.

The racing theme that this Mazda has adopted is also seen in the interior, thanks to the Sparco seat and the charcoal-colored suede material which wraps the dashboard and the Sparco R323 steering wheel. As for engine, the 2012 Mazda MX-5 Super25 will surely be stronger than its predecessors, which featured a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine with 170 horsepower. Unfortunately, this Mazda is still a concept and nobody is sure if it will ever go into mass-production, but if it will it is almost certain that sports vehicle aficionados will jump at the occasion of driving and even purchasing one.
